Can you service a large group or bridal party?
Yes, Samantha has a team of amazing artists she arranges accordingly to accommodate larger parties to have all ready for pictures.

How do you provide safe makeup applications?
Samantha holds a CA State Board License in Esthiology (Skin Care Therapy) and various certifications to provide safe + sanitary makeup applications. In addition, she keeps a SUPER CLEAN and organized kit. All products are scooped out with a spatula onto a clean makeup palette, sprayed with alcohol or a makeup safe disinfectant, as well as only using clean makeup brushes and disposables items such as mascara wands, sponges and more. There is 100% Guaranteed No Double Dipping or Cross Contamination when working with Sam.

What makeup products are used?
All products used are of the highest standards to deliver long-wear throughout the day/night. They are the same top quality products she uses on her work in print, tv, commercials and more including actors, models and celebrities. Samantha carries a mixed variety of the best long lasting products such as Laura Mercier, Dior, Chanel, Rare Beauty, Face Atelier, Nars, Stila, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Tarte, Makeup Forever as well as various Pro-Artist lines. Her kit includes makeup for every ethnicity and skin type from the most sensitive to mature.

Are you able to cover blemishes/ skin issues?
Yes, Samantha is a licensed esthetician and specializes in all skin types including sensitive, acne, rosacea, hyper-pigmentation and more. She carries a wide range of products suitable for specific skin concerns including hypo-allergenic, oil-free, fragrance free, etc. *Any allergies to products or special requests must be specified before makeup application.
Do you offer Airbrush Makeup?
Yes, airbrush makeup is offered in addition to standard makeup applications. Standard makeup application, if applied correct can give the same results and look just as good! It's all matter of preference.

Do you have experience in cultural weddings?
Yes, Samantha has worked on almost every type of cultural wedding from American, Indian, Asian and more.

*Trials are not conducted on Saturdays as this is a main Bridal day. Trial sessions are generally conducted during the week and/or evenings.

Do you offer Trials?
Yes, Samantha offers trial makeovers to help guide and create a custom makeup look just for you! This is where the bride will receive a consultation and full makeup application. During the trial session all details are reviewed, factoring in every element such as your dress, hair, flowers, and more. All products, colors, application techniques and special instructions will be recorded on file, as well as snapping photos to use as a visual reference on the day of your wedding. There is no obligation to commit for makeup services at the time of the trial. This is your test-run to preview your makeup look and work hand-in-hand with Samantha so you feel comfortable with her by your side on your big day. Also, this provides an opportunity to provide any feedback so we can make any necessary tweaks to your look so you are 100% ready to go on your wedding day. Trials are up to 1 hour 1⁄2 of time. Your wedding day makeup application will not take as long because we have already created your look during the trial session.

What should I bring to a Trial Session?
It is strongly suggested to bring inspiration images of the Makeup you are considering for your wedding day which will be reviewed together. This is the best way to communicate the look you aim to achieve. In addition, Samantha will provide suggestions such as complimentary colors, textures, etc. best suited for your features and skin type.

How long does a makeup application take?
Every application is customized. Please allow approximately up to 45 minutes for the Bride's services and 30+ minutes for each additional makeup application. Time includes a mini consultation with each individual to review the direction of makeup, colors, textures, skin type, specific requests, etc. Add on services, such as false eyelashes application will take additional time, as well as resetting the makeup station for the next application. On a busy wedding day, it's always suggested to allow more time than less so you and your party are not rushed.

Do you create a makeup schedule/timeline?
Yes, once your services are officially booked a tentative timeline will be created to have all ready in time for pictures.

What happens if someone wants their makeup done last minute that wasn't booked in advance?
Time permitting, Samantha will do her best to accommodate this request as long as it does not interfere with the original members of bridal party that have already booked in advance. Any “add-on” applications not accounted for in the contract must be paid in full on date of service.

How do I book my wedding makeup services?
A non-refundable retainer and signed contract is required to secure your wedding date and book services. All bookings come on a first come, first serve basis. No dates are held or blocked out without a contract in place.

Do you have a minimum booking requirement?
Yes, there is a (3) person booking minimum or a minimum booking fee. Smaller booking requests may be granted if scheduling permits.

What travel fees do you charge?
Travel fees vary depending on distance and travel time to your preferred location. Where applicable, travel tolls, garage or valet parking fees are to be covered or reimbursed by the client.

Are you available to start makeup early in the morning?
Yes, please note that an Early Morning Fee applies to services requiring an arrival time prior to 8:00am.

Do you offer a Reception / Second Makeup Look Service?
This service caters to brides that wish for a Ceremony Look (typically natural and elegant) and a Reception Look (more glam). There is an added fee for this service as it requires more time and materials..
